Product Options

Surface Mount 4mm x 8mm QFN
Connectorized Evaluation Board

Product Overview

AM3098 is a miniature digitally tunable filter providing selectable highpass filtering over the 100 to 225 MHz and independently selectable lowpass filtering over the 500 to 1200 MHz frequency range. The filter also provides a bypass mode where only the lowpass filter is active. With independent 4-bit digital control for each of the filters many center frequency/ bandwidth configurations can easily be achieved. AM3098 has a compact 4mm x 8mm QFN footprint and operates over the -40C to +85C temperature range.

The AM3098 is one in a family of digitally tunable bandpass filters offered from Atlanta Micro that cover the DC to 12.0 GHz frequency range. In this family there is the AM3065 that covers 6.0 GHz to 12.0 GHz, the AM3102 that covers 330 MHz to 1.2 GHz or 450 MHz to 1.5 GHz, the AM3103 that covers 1.0 GHz to 3.0 GHz, the AM3104 that covers 2.5 GHz to 6.5 GHz, and the AM3090, the sister part to the AM3098, which covers 100 MHz to 450 MHz

This family of parts provides an excellent filtering solution for receivers or transceivers requiring flexible center frequency and bandwidth, high dynamic range, small size and weight, and low power consumption.
