The AM1163-2 is a high dynamic range amplifier covering up to to 10 GHz. The device exhibits a moderate positive gain-slope, providing frequency equalization useful in many broadband applications. AM1163 provides similar performance to Atlanta Micro’s AM1063 with the benefit of improved low frequency NF. With internal 50Ω matching and packaged in a 1.3mm x 2mm DFN the AM1163-2 represents a compact total PCB footprint.
The AM1163 is also available in a 3mm QFN form factor as the AM1163-1.

Module includes field replaceable SMA input and output connectors. Module also includes two pins for voltage input through a feed-through capacitor and a corresponding ground connection. Module includes four mounting holes sized 4-40 that are threaded from the bottom side of the module.
